ABOUT US:

Help our community rebuild and show your support for the families, faculty, administration, clergy, and parishioners of Annunciation, which is grieving and healing after a shooting which happened while innocent children were praying in their pews. All proceeds will be donated directly to the Annunciation Hope and Healing Fund.

FAQ:

All proceeds from sale of these signs will be donated to the Annunciation Hope and Healing Fund. As of late September, we have recouped all expenses, so the sale price of every sign sold going forward is 100% donation! When our remaining signs are sold, we will update the website with financial transparency data and donation totals.

Q: What's up with this "Pay What You Can, Take What You Want" promotion?

As we run through the rest of our print run, we want to get as many signs into the community as possible. If you buy even one sign now for local pick-up or shipping, you can take however many signs you want (including stakes).

If you've already purchased a sign or signs and want to grab extras, come by our contactless pick-up location and grab them on the honor system. They're not doing us any good sitting around in storage.

The contactless pick-up table operates from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (weather permitting) at:

5935 Girard Ave S., Minneapolis, MN 55419

Q: Are you shipping signs or will they only be available locally?

Signs are now available to ship in the United States via USPS!

Since our goal is to maximize donations, we are pricing signs higher for shipping, as we will incur materials costs for labels, boxes, tape, etc. Shipping costs and taxes will be the customer's responsibility in addition to the sign purchase. Thanks for your gracious understanding in advance.

Q: What are the sign's dimensions and features?

18 (h) x 24 (w). Double-sided printing (same image each side). A QR code in the corner directs people to the Annunciation Hope and Healing Fund so that these beautiful signs can do passive fundraising in your yard.

Q: What about the blue and green ribbons?

The leaders of this project, Bows of Love, are now transitioning to responsible removal practices, and local municipalities have started to ask that ribbons be removed. We will no longer be offering ribbons, unfortunately, so as not to put more into the ecosystem.

Q: Why are you doing this?

Children were slaughtered while sitting in their church pews. Our community is reeling and will never be the same. Sure, yard signs don't "do anything" in the grand scheme of things. They don't change policy or culture. But people are looking to show their support. The better question is: If you're not doing something in the wake of this tragedy, why not? We simply couldn't sit idly by.

Mary Kole Macdonald, who's spearheading this store, is also a bereaved mother (under very different circumstances) and so firsthand knows the grief of being in a club nobody wants to join.
